Agatha Ruiz de la Prada

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada is one of the most famous and personal designers in the Spanish and international fashion scene designers. Her bold and colorful creative universe reflects a point of view full of love, humor and optimism and conveys a concept of life focused on the smallest details and a world composed of vitality. With this unique combination of elements, she infuses a very organic and distinctive personality in all her artworks: textiles, furniture, crockery, technology, childcare, etc.

 

Born in Madrid (Spain) in 1960, at the crux of the Pop Art movement, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada was inspired by this vibrant, artistic mood of the era. She invoked this splash of pop onto her first collection which debuted in 1980 in her hometown of Madrid. Her creative designs spurred an instant success and went on to showcase on the catwalks of major fashion capitals of the world, including Paris and Milán, leading Ruiz de la Prada to open her atelier in 1982 in Madrid.

Venezuela

 

Nidal is one of the greatest couturiers operating in Venezuela. Has a formal education as an architect. With more than 30 years working for the most famous personalities of the media, he belongs to a generation of prolific designers in prêt-á-porter and haute couture, also with previous experience creating/directing fashion design schools making a path for the new seeds. In the last twenty years has taken the drive of fashion and printed the creative features of our region since the creation of his firm NIDAL DESIGNER, with a middle eastern roots and latin culture that show ups on every creation.

His firm is synonymous with refinement and originality. Each of his clothes is a sign of fantasy that women wear with flaunt. The ideal for someone who likes to dazzle, his fantastic creations of clothing never go unnoticed. That unique style made him winner of several fashion awards by the organization Miss Venezuela and others. His harmonized execution of the designs has led it to be chosen as a designer for beauty queens from multiple countries and beauty pageants.

Not leaving a side the social and pro industry work, creates (ACMOV) ASSOCIATION OF FASHION CREATORS OF VENEZUELA in the 2011, supporting the develop, projection and divulgation of the fashion industry in the country.

It is a small, refined man. Develops a concept of fashion (classic yet modern) is not  just for the female sphere. Nidal has also been concerned about designing clothing lines for men, and in that sense, their proposals have been widely accepted due to the accurate picture of edgy man.

Rosita Hurtado

Bolivia

Born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, this enterprising woman traveled in 1982 to Paris France to study fashion design at the Dominique school, then studied at Yocanda Atelier in Porto Alegre Brazil. From there she moved to London England to study patterning Industrial and ends an Associate of Fashion Designer at the Art Istitute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida, USA. His collections have been presented in different international places and has shared catwalks with great designers such as Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Donna Karan, Tommy Hillfiiger, Alexandre Mac Queen at New York Fashion Week in 2004, Present in Paris Pret a porte, Fashion Week of the Americas, Texvecal in Santiago de Chile, Puerto Rico Fashion Week, Ecua moda, Los Angeles Fashion Week, Bolivia Fashion Parade organized by (Together in the world) and as a special guest Queen Sofia Of Spain in Palma de Mallorca, three times presented her fashion at the UNESCO in Paris, France and received in Ecuador at the Golden Needle Award .. In 2009 was recognized by the Univision chain as one of seven Heroes of the Planet with its Ecological line. For two years I created the Ixoye line, a casual urban fashion with cultural purpose which is being recognized worldwide for its originality, to show the world through the clothing Latin American culture.

 

Miriam Rodriguez

Venezuela

Venezuelan designer Miriam Rodriguez has made elegance her trademark. She only designs clothes which are elegant today, tomorrow, and forever. Her classical style has brought her from her humble beginnings as a seamstress to her current status as an influencer in her city, Maracaibo, her country, Venezuela, and beyond.

Her unique creations are eagerly sought after by her customers, who never miss a chance to wear them just to be labeled as the most elegant of whatever places they go to. She’s amongst the fastest selling designers in the world, her dresses being sold within seconds of being published on her social media site, making them true objects of desire.

Though born in Santa Marta, Colombia, she’s always been a Venezuelan at heart, proudly representing her country wherever her quest for inspiration may take her. 

 

Melina Nmili

Dominican Republic / USA

 

Lalla bee 2018 Collection

Born and bred in the vibrant Dominican Republic countryside, Melina embraces the diversity of colors, textures and patterns of her childhood.

From her design studio in Boston, lalla bee’s structured silhouettes, colorful palettes, and painstaking attention to detail reflect the values and struggles of her past. Rather than following the latest trends in fashion, Melina’s designs are intentionally timeless. They are developed and made in New York from quality fabrics sourced directly from the finest factories across the U.S. and Europe.

Like the self-made women who raised Melina, lalla bee’s dresses tell a story of strength, effortless beauty, and unwavering confidence.

“The kind of woman I envision wearing one of my dresses is a woman who is confident in her own skin. When she walks into the room, she owns it. She feels smart, beautiful, and her strength shines,” says Melina. “I firmly believe that she can and should be simple, fearless and beautiful.”

Carlos Jose Sierra

Venezuela

 

Carlos Sierra was born in the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela in 1978, since his childhood he lived among fabrics, from an early age he began working for a textile company, this learns to identify by name each textile and texture. At 17 years old he began his academic training as a fashion designer at the Institute Monsignor of Talavera in the city of Maracaibo, where he qualified fashion designer, in training acquire the skills, technical and professional domain in Fashion design and manufacture. Upon completion of his career participating in different courses at the Fashion Design, in turn organizes workshops taught by Carlos Sierra in textile. In 2000 his young age opens fashion house Desing Carlos Sierra, CA, founded by the same Carlos fruit of their dreams, the same year launched its first collection which is displayed in the Lia Bermudez Arts Center in Maracaibo, from there moved to Caracas in Venezuela Fashion dresses, high-scale event in Venezuela, the collection ends its run El Salvador where Carlos Sierra gets the honor as nobel Designer.

 

Angie Polanco

Dominican Republic

 

Angie Polanco graduated in Advertising Communication at the APEC University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Barcelona did a Master in Marketing Management in EAE Business School. Later he graduated in Industrial Pattern and Lingerie at the School of Design and Fashion Felicidad Duce, and in Fashion Design at the Escola de la Dona.   He devoted himself to design and pattern making practices Prontomoda group Badalona, ​​dedicated to the production of women's clothing. In January 2009 he won first prize in the European Competition II Bride Sur in El Aljarafe, Seville.   In July 2009 he was a finalist in the First Joaquim Mercader Competition for young designers in Badalona. In September 2009 he was selected to participate in the 28th edition of ModaFAD Project-T held in Barcelona.   In October 2009 he presented in Dominican Fashion 2009 his first collection Dual O / I, inspired by The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.   In January 2010 he started working with the team of Catalan designer Josep Font, internationally as one of the few Spanish designers who belongs to the exclusive club of haute couture organized by the Fédération Française de la Couture known. He is currently the creative director of the fashion Del Pozo.   In July 2010 he was elected a second time to participate in the 30th edition of ModaFAD Project-T held in Barcelona.   In October 2010 presented in Dominican Fashion 2010 his collection NOI O / I, inspired by the avant-garde art.   In November 2012 he was a finalist in the fourth edition of the competition for young designers Joaquim Mercader in Badalona.    From 2011 to 2013, working in the textile sector for the Inditex group, which owns brands like Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Pull and Bear, Stradivarius and Lefties.

Francisco Saez

"Francisco Saez is a designer of 25 years. He began his studies at the international school of design and fashion in Madrid, Spain , ended his career with honors and performing practices with renowned designer Ion Fiz . During his career he has received several awards, including the gold thimble and the medal of merit European Working for his career and his contribution to the world of fashion, making designs actresses like Estefania Martinez. Based on the Golden Mile of Madrid, Francisco Saez makes and sells all his couture creations and custom clothing." 

 

Carmen Camacho

Bolivia

 

Carmen Camacho is a designer from Sucre, Bolivia. She is considered self-taught, the national and international experimentation has formed her professional career. Its brand "Awaj Warmi" is focused on ethical fashion, works directly with artisans in the use of high quality fibers to design garments and accessories that denote a cultural identity of Chuquisaca. He participated in several fashion events, including Bolivia Fashion Week, thanks to which he later showed his talent at Alicante Fashion Week.

Isabel Lopez

Isabel Original International Fashions are all original designs created by Isabel López.  Isabel came to the United States in 1992, from her native country of Colombia, in pursuit of her dream to design fashions that accentuated the sensual curves of a women’s body, captured in the spirit of elegance.  As a young girl growing up in Colombia, Isabel had a passion for design, creating designs for her dolls and taking classes in sewing  in her hometown of Palmira.  Isabel attended Esmoda School of Fashion in Cali, Colombia, graduating in 1990.  In 1995 she studied at the Burdette School in Boston, Ma.  In 1995, Isabel sponsored and produced her first fashion show in the United States, showing her original summer collection.  In 1998, her designs were featured in the Ms. Mundo Colombia Beauty Pageant in New York City.

 

The Diva Collection Fall/Winter 2018

Award winning designer Isabel Lopez, the namesake of Isabel Original International,  launches her  Diva Collection for Fall/Winter 2018 on the runway at NYC Fashion Week.
The collection centered on the design concept of elevating the woman to new levels of elegance and luxury with copious amounts of embroidered lace and shimmering gold fabrics each silhouette accentuates the curves and sexiness of the female form . Each piece in the collection is flawlessly hand sewn and a one of a kind original.  Classic styles of high-low skirting and princess length gowns are the cornerstone of the collection. Bodices get unique embellishments including Swarovski crystals and Isabel has incorporated multiple chain detailing into several of the pieces.

Alexander Acosta

Born in Dominican Republic,Living in New York.
 I spent my childhood in the beautiful town of Duvergé. Heavily influenced by my artistic mother, Miriam Acosta, who was a full time seamstress and also a principal for a local elementary school. From this upbringing I learned from my mother to sew and cut fabrics. She immediately noticed, yet despondently, my gift for the art. I would sit for hours watching her work, as she prepared beautiful gowns for weddings and Quinceañeras. After graduation I left Dominican Republic at the age of 21, moved to Phoenix, AZ to Pursue "the american dream. Although I enjoyed the study of social science, I quickly immersed myself in my first love, fashion. In 2003 i began producing one-of-a-kind custom designs for my first clothing line, AGA Couture. I have been defined as "Elegant and Casual clothing for men and woman". Geared towards Resort Elegance with hispanic, gypsy influences, And usually a touch of Modern Victorian era style. The Haus of Alexander Acosta Now in NYC Creates Gowns for latin and standard Ballroom Competitions and Couture couture gowns for Private Clients.
 Now in New York I design Ready-to-wear and street chick collection for men and woman.
