Following an exquisite art exhibition and photo display by

The formal attire event will be held Thursday December 2nd and Friday December 3rd, 2021 at the spectacular Rosita Hurtado Atelier located between the Miami Design District & Wynwood Art District. FDLA | Miami 4th edition will kick off with our signature black-tie red-carpet cocktail reception starting at 7:00 PM. Kachmar Marta "Marta Alexandrovna" was born on March 20, 1989 in city Vinnitsa, Ukraine. 

Since early age she was engaged in graphics, drawing and watercolor painting. From 4 years old she was acquainted with hand weaving and at the age 4 until 7 years old she helped her father create gobileny. In 2007 she first tried oil painting and from that moment begat to be interested in this is material. All of her paintings created in Ukraine are on hand made canvases. 

Since 2014, twice a year, she exhibited her works ( oil color on canvas) at group exhibitions with a preliminary commission of "Artgalera" at the Expicentr in Vinnitsa. 

In 2016 , she created a collection of paintings "My Life" on the territory of China, and in February 2017 organized the first personal exhibition in Guangzhou, China. 

In July 2017, Marta organized the second personal exhibition called "INSPIRATION" in Ukraine, in the city of Vinnitsa.

She is an of genre and wide range of experimental level. She uses various artists techniques and variation in modeling of the plot and composition of the painting. Pleasant perceiving of broad coloristic and tone-play work of painting and it is important that there experiments and development in the storyline are one of a kind, unique style of writing.

MANONCE MANONCE FEATURED ARTIST

Manonce is a self-taught multi-faceted artist which journey evolved into drawing, painting and photography. 

His creative process explores the interaction of the human mind with its own self and its surroundings.  This psycho-emotional aspect is featured in all his paintings. Manonce’s dreams and acute intuition of his environment feed the themes and composition of his work. His move to New York brought a fascination for architecture and buildings that he impersonated in many of his paintings. Using vibrant colors, Manonce created several collections of such different styles that one would not think comes from the same artist.  

As a photographer, Manonce is fairly spontaneous and has a swift eye that literally captures the moment on the fly.

Jose Luis Victoria  was born in the city of Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Your Creativity was directed in principle towards the choreography, making itself known in the comparsas and Carnival dances for the social centers of the Spanish Center of Santiago and the Gurabito Country Club Then he goes to the elementary tools of fashion design which put into practice in the cofección of the artistic garments of Sensulisima Vickiana. Although the passion for art always accompanied him, he decided to pursue a career in administration of companies in the Technical University of Santiago. In 1988, he left for the United States and a year later started working for the Maggy London.LTD in New York, where he has the opportunity to design for personalities of Univisión and Telemundo.

Evelyn Luna & Scott Chester Featured Designer at FDLA ART BASEL Miami.

Evelyn Luna was born in the Bronx, New York City. She studied the H.S. of Art & Design and received her BFA at New York’s Parsons School of Design. For 13 years she was a key member of Diane Von Furstenberg’s original design staff that re-launched the DVF brand and its myriad of successful designs. She subsequently became Director of DVF’s textile dept. In 2003, she ventured on to become Textile Product Manager at Victoria’s Secret lingerie. Before long Evelyn began consulting independently for DVF, VS Swimwear and other designers in the fashion and home furnishing industry.

Scott Chester was born in Brooklyn, later went to H.S. of Art and Design in Manhattan where he studied Industrial design and met Evelyn Luna. Graduated to CCS college of automotive design in Detroit in 1984, Studied product design at Pratt Institute in 1986 then transferred to Art Center in Pasadena California in 1988. In 1990 Scott moved back to Brooklyn and opened ACID Studios to design custom furniture for clients in Manhattan. This was the beginning of Arielle Chester Industrial Design (ACID) named after his daughter born in 1990. In 1998 Scott (or ACID) worked with Jon Drew and Marvin Samel to develop ACID Cigars a premium, hand rolled Cigar brand manufactured in Nicaragua.

Vanessa Ayala is a painter, classically trained in fine art and studied at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, California.Fascinated by pop culture her art is an observation of her generation. In the selfie era she focuses on painting vibrant portraits. The selfie has evolved into a marketing tool to brand oneself which has inspired Vanessa to explore the new movement of entrepreneurs on instagram. Her glamorous portraits include celebrities and strong women building their empires. As a Colombian Latina she seeks out imagery of other Latina lady bosses who are a reflection of her artistic philosophy. She currently resides in New York where she continues to create.

Sulay Torres was born and raised in Cali, Colombia. Since a young age, she has had a passion for creating. In 1994, she began to take her journey in “Diseñamos” a college for future fashion designers. On her last grade assignment they had to create a rare dress, and her best friend gave her a piece of leather to work with. This was when she discovered the hidden wonder and many functions with leather. Sulay moved to the city of Bogota where she began to take her ideas into leather and put them in bags. She began to prosper along with Andres Arango which gave her a boost to her imagination. They formed a name together, and began to mix leather with cow bone, cow horn and seeds which distinguish her from other designers. Sulay then opened a boutique at usaquen, Bogota  She participated in events like “Expo Artesanias” and fashion shows like “Bogota fashion”. Sulay had also the honor to win the award “Mujer Emprededora Del Año” in Bogota. They then traveled to Madrid to participate in “Iberpiel.” After fifteen years of living in Bogota, Sulay moved to the United Sates. She lived in L.A California for six months where she was in many art shows. In 2011 she began to live in Miami where she continues to create leather bags along with the inspiration of the bright colors of Wynwood, where she has her workshop. Spreading colors on her own leather bags with acrylic. She has been in many art shows such as:

Established and based out of Miami, Morena puts all her efforts in pursuit of the best materials for her collections; with fabrics imported from the United States, and gold-plated belts from Italy, her designs are a statement of delicate taste and elegant design and craftmanship, aimed to please the highest tear of the market; so “cheap” is not a word Morena likes to use when describing her own work.
The pieces are created and designed to outline the female shape, but also are setting the trend for the upcoming summer fashion seasons. Swaroski crystals and semi-precious stones also make part of the exclusive line of apparel that can be used for a beach day, an after-pool party at a yacht, or just for a cool, evening walk down the boardwalk. Her designs suggest the luxurious lifestyle of the modern and active woman: “one that knows how to keep the balance between physical activities, retaining the grace and the elegance of a sophisticated woman”

With a trajectory of 27 years, it has stepped progressively to position itself in the national and international market as a renowned designer, working with great personalities of fashion and Honduran society. For his designs and career, he has been invited to participate in national and international catwalks such as Europe, North America, the Caribbean and Malaysia, among others, to represent Honduras.A fashion designer of haute couture and "ready-to-wear". With a trajectory of 27 years, it has stepped progressively to position itself in the national and international market as a renowned designer, working with great personalities of fashion and Honduran society. Cecilia Freire is a mixed media artist.

Born in Buenos Aires Argentina, currently living in Miami.

 

Graphic designer from UBA, Art studies with Jose Marchi in Buenos Aires and Laura Villarreal in Miami.

 

Worked as a graphic designer for several years in Buenos Aires and started working with art, especially portraits in collage using acrylics, papers, embroidery, oils, spray paint, resin.

Currently displaying my art at Wynwood Shop, Wynwood District, Miami.

 

“I love to capture stories in pictures, eyes don’t lie. Every woman in the world has a story to share, a story to listen; always ready to help one another and ready to cheer for what the other can achieve. I think we are hardworking in every field of life and last but not least we don’t care for backgrounds or differences.

That’s my point of view.”
