The winner would get a once in a lifetime experience to get a mentorship with Academy Award nominee Paco Delgado.
The contest would be for designers to Design a Whimsical, Fashion-Forward, Rule-Breaking Resort Look for the 21st Century “Socialite” for a 2021 Nile Cruise.
Think of what would an Influencer, Actor/Actress, Singer/Artist wear for a fabulous—yet thrilling—cruise down the Nile River?
While the film was set in the late 1930’s—for this VERY SPECIAL CONTEST—we want to bring it to the NOW: the 21st century!
Background: The 1930’s was an incredibly modern decade for style and fashion, replacing the boyish “garçonne” shapes of the previous decade with an era of sensuous, feminine silhouettes, epitomized by the bias-cut, elongated torsos, widening shoulders and sinuous waists and designers such as Schiaparelli and Vionnet.
With that in mind, think of THE NOW and the FUTURE—what could define this current modern decade of fashion and style.
Hurry! Don't Wait! Register Now and Submit your Sketch no later than February 2nd, 2022
